आइये देखते हैं की अपने system की hdd का health कैसे check किया जाए
segate का sea tools काफी powerfull utility है जिसकी help से आप अपने hdd का health check कर सकते हैं
अगर drive को scan करने के बाद कोई error मिलता है तो इसको fix करने के लिए sea tools में कई सारे advance option मिल जाते हैं लेकिन अगर आपको कोई error display हो तो सबसे पहले आप अपनी hdd का backup ले लीजिये क्यों की अगर hdd मे कोई problem आ रही है तो जल्दी ही आपका hdd crash हो सकता है
जब आप sea tools को install कर run करते हैं और hdd को select कर basic test पर click करते हैं तो following tests display होते हैं
- SMART check
- Short Drive self test
- Drive information
- short generic
- Long generic
SMART check :- जब हम SMART test पर click करते हैं और drive status pass आए और test status 100 % आए इसका मतलब आपकी hdd सही condition में हैं लेकिन अगर कोई error आए तो अपनी hdd जितनी जल्दी हो replace कर दीजिये
इसी तरह सारे test कर के देख सकते हैं अगर आपको drive की information चाहिए तो basic tests मे जाकर drive information पर click करिए
चाहें तो warranty purpose के लिए drive information को save कर सकते हैं
