This step-by-step guide will help you to create a password reset disk in Windows 11 to facilitate reset local account password.
First open control panel using following image
in control panel search reset disk when you search click on password reset disk
forgotten windows will appear after that click on next
Then select usb flash drive and click next
give current user password and click next
you see progress bar complete click next
after that you will see completing forgotten password wizard and then click finish
Keep this pen drive safely, whenever you forget the password, this pen drive will be useful.
After a failed login attempt, you’ll see an option Reset Password.
Insert the password reset disk into the USB drive. The Password Reset Wizard will open. Click Next.
Select the drive where you created the password reset disk and click Next.
Enter a new password and a hint if desired. Click Next and then Finish.
You should now be able to log in using your new password.
